Mixing:

As an exercise, I have been either using, editing or creating midi files of songs that I then add virtual instruments to and try to mix as close to the original song as I can in a short amount of time. Since they're midi files, I thought that the best sound for vocals would be the closest thing a synth can reproduce as a meow sound. Thusly, my "Meow Mixes" were created. I create many, but these are the ones I have made 'art' for and uploaded.

Here are a couple more Meow Mixes that couldn't be uploaded to Youtube because of copyright claims. What a compliment?

Performance:

Passing Strange (Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre):

These two videos are excerpts/clips of my bass accompaniment for the production of Passing Strange I played for. The co-composer of the show was the bassist of the original production, so I got to play along with most of the show in a scope and fashion usually reserved for a pianist. It's an excellent show and was an extremely fun way to show off my skills. Enjoy what bits of it I have left to be able to share.

Other Misc. Productions:

I was lucky enough to play for Boho Theatre's JEFF-Nominated production of "Tick, Tick...Boom!", samples of which can be found in the bass reel below. In addition, at the start I have moments from the college production of HAIR I was part of, which was for both bass/guitar 2, depending on the needs of the pit. It took place the same school year that the Kent State University was commemorating the 50th anniversary of the infamoous May 4th shootings, which added an important weight/opportunity for the show. In addition, a stripped down version of the pit along with the cast performed selections for the inauguration ceremony of the next university president. I have played for more shows, but these are what I can show for the time being!
